Where? Perranporth Beach

Summer’s at full dial with three days of dancing the sand and huge headliner sets from Basement Jaxx to The Wombats. A little less hectic than the mighty Boardmasters, but with an impressive international lineup bang on the sand, Tunes in the Dunes is where sounds, surfing and summertime beach vibes come together on Perranporth Beach.
When? 26 June 2026
Where? Lusty Glaze Beach, Newquay

Get ready for big house anthems and a high-energy beach party as BBC Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay headlines a special Dance Sounds of the 90s Sundowner Session at Lusty Glaze. Step back into one of the most iconic eras in club culture, celebrate the decade that shaped modern dance music, and put your hands in the air on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
When? 12 – 14 June 2026
Where? Falmouth

Falmouth always pulls out the stops on vibrant festivals – and its Sea Shanty Festival has turned into one of our most-loved weekends of the year. A proper Cornish knees-up that’s much like partying with the cast from Fisherman’s Friends, it’s an unplugged celebration of Cornwall’s rich maritime heritage with boot-stomping songs of the sea. Coinciding with the Falmouth Classics Regatta, brace yourself for an all-out maritime fiesta for sea and song lovers of all ages.
When? 5 June 2026
Where? Trebah, Mawnan Smith
Bring a blanket and yoga mat to Trebah Garden, and nestle amongst the trees and birdsong for a Gong Bath. As the early evening light cascades through sub-tropical canopies, the deep tones of the gongs and Tibetan bowls offer a calming soundscape, designed to help the body unwind and the mind slow down. It’s a simple but powerful way to reset in a magical setting.
When? June – September
Where? Great Western Beach

Saunas aren’t just a winter thing. Now that Olla Hiki Sauna has moved to Newquay’s Great Western Beach, you can catch waves in Cornwall’s original home of surfing, then enjoy a post-surf sauna right by the sea. What with all the kit, caboodle and lessons from Newquay Surf School, and all the trimmings of the Great Western Surf Café on tap, summer beach days – and evenings – never looked better.
When? 28 June – 4 July 2026
Where? Mevagissey

For a true taste of Cornish community head to ‘Meva’ as the locals call it, for this week-long celebration dating back over 250 years. A blend of old-school tradition with a full-on food fest, expect giant fish feasts, chef demos, fireworks, and foot-stomping tunes beside the harbour, while families get stuck into games and parades.
When? 25 June 2026
Where? Rinsey Cove
With the water starting to warm up, June is the perfect time to plunge in for a wild swim. And there’s no-one better to show you the way around Cornwall’s coastline under your own steam than Sea Swim Cornwall. Their June lineup includes this leisurely 1200m swim from Rinsey Cove, taking you through three stunning sea caves. Breathtaking – literally.

Where? Melancoose, Nr Newquay
Wind down in a serene woodland space where where artists, creatives and curious beginners come together to make something by hand, share conversation and explore creativity in a low-pressure, supportive environment. Led by Gemma Lessinger, the June Creative Reset Club combines Coastal Tote Bag Painting, tea and time out, with optional woodland spa time in nature. When? 25 – 28 June 2026
Where? Mount Edgcumbe
Slip into art, culture and party vibes in the lush setting of Mount Edgcumbe Deer Park – just across the estuary from Plymouth (so you can even arrive by boat). Cornwall’s brand-new art, wellness and music festival, Morvala promises a wildly eclectic lineup, including Toploader, Turin Breaks, and Dawn French, alongside saunas, sea views and craft workshops. Locals get a 25% discount.
When? 29 June – 2 July
Where? The Minack Theatre

June’s long, light evenings are the best time to catch a show at the Minack’s open-air theatre carved into the cliffs above the turquoise waters of Porthcurno (where passing dolphins are regulars in the cast). There’s plenty of performances to choose from, but we’ve got our eye on the adaptation of Paula Hawkin’s best-selling novel The Girl on the Train. A psychological thriller with twists at every turn, we can’t wait to see what Ilkley Playhouse makes of it on the stage. And if the weather’s on your side, it’s best paired with a swim at Porthcurno beach beforehand.
Where? Gorran, St Austell

June is the month for camping – so dig out the tent or slip off in the campervan to this sea-view campsite overlooking the Roseland Heritage Coast. With four big fields there’s space to spread out, and this really is simple camping done right: fresh air, beach days and nights under the stars. Once you’ve unzipped your canvas, the South West Coast Path and Vault Beach are nearby, and if you want to take in some of Cornwall’s attractions, the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan and Dodman Point are within easy reach.
Buzzing, beachy and filled with arty and maritime credentials, Falmouth has it all for a June day out. From sunrise swims at Gyllynvase to watersports at Swanpool and wild waterfront festivals and exhibitions around the harbour, soak it all in while the sun’s high.
