If you’re after a bit more action, Bude’s surf schools, cycle routes, and kayak hire will get your pulse racing, while quieter souls can potter around local gardens, browse independent shops, or pop into a cosy café. With the Atlantic Highway on the doorstep, a day out to mythical Tintagel, the wilds of Dartmoor, or the picture-perfect villages of North Cornwall and Devon is all within easy reach.
