Farmer Phil’s Campsite is a lovely, no-frills spot nestled on a 75-acre working farm near Bude, Cornwall. It offers a real back-to-nature vibe, with spacious grassy pitches for tents, motorhomes, and campervans, both electric and non-electric. Facilities include clean showers and toilets, a washing-up area, a fridge, microwave, freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer, plus outdoor drinking water and recycling. Guests can cosy up around fire pits (available at extra cost), and enjoy the peaceful countryside surrounded by sheep and cows. A friendly pub, The Rest Post Inn, is just a 20-minute stroll away, perfect for local ales and simple home-cooked food.
The campsite is a brilliant base for exploring the beautiful local area. Just a short drive or walk from stunning beaches like Summerleaze and Sandymouth Bay, you’ll find plenty of opportunities for surfing, windsurfing, canoeing, coasteering, and fishing in Tamar Lakes. Hiking enthusiasts can take to the South West Coast Path or explore the nearby Bude Canal. With golf courses nearby and plenty of scenic walks through rolling countryside and along the coast, Farmer Phil’s offers something for families, groups, and outdoor lovers alike—all in a relaxed, welcoming setting where your dog is very much welcome too.
